An independent test lab, based in Nairobi.
Founded to bring iGaming testing and certification to Africa, to the same international standards used everywhere else.
From the submitting side of certification.
Fairmetric was founded by people who have spent their careers inside operators and game studios, sending products to laboratories abroad and waiting for the answer. We know where the process slows down, and which questions a good lab should ask before it starts testing.
Kenya's Gambling Control Act 2025 created, for the first time, a licence category for testing gambling equipment and software. We set out to build the laboratory that licence was written for: independent, built to international standards, and close to the people it serves.
Make certification in Africa as trusted as anywhere, and faster than it has ever been.
We measure fairness for a living. That means a game pays what it says it pays, a random number generator is genuinely random, a platform keeps players' money safe, and a regulator can rely on the report in front of them.
Competence
Qualified people and validated methods, assessed against the standard, not asserted.
Impartiality
Independent, unbiased results, with threats to impartiality identified and managed.
Confidentiality
Source code and game data handled under controlled, audited security.
Continuous improvement
Regular internal audits and method reviews, so the lab sharpens over time.
Our only product is a verdict you can rely on.
Independence is a formal requirement of ISO/IEC 17025. It is also what allows us to test for the whole market and produce results a regulator will accept.
We identify every risk to our impartiality, record it, and either remove it or decline the work.
Our full approach is set out in our impartiality and independence policy.
Mathematicians, engineers and testers.
